California-Based Water Feature Company Opens New Office In Arlington

A Southern California-based design-build construction company with a history of creating Las Vegas-style water features in North Texas has opened a new office in Arlington.

Outside the Lines Inc. has designed and built several show fountains in retail and mixed-use properties across Texas, including the special effects show fountain at Texas Live! in Arlington’s Entertainment District.

The firm said it has designed and constructed large-scale entertainment-focused water features for commercial properties, as well as realistic rockwork and themed environments. To date, Outside the Lines said it has completed more than $200 million in projects across the nation and $30 million across the state of Texas.

“The demand for entertainment-driven amenities has skyrocketed over the last several years as it plays a vital role in driving traffic to commercial properties,” CEO J. Wickham Zimmerman said in a statement. “Because of this rising demand, we have seen tremendous growth in our business, especially with the launch of our new proprietary AI technology. This was the right time to expand our presence in Texas and establish a new office in Arlington.”
